In 2006 at a Los Angeles minister conference John and Michelle had the opportunity to meet Pastor James Tan of Singapore. After sharing with him their assignment to go to the nations to minister the Word, he invited them to join him in Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.
The McIntosh couple had never been to this part of the world and soon found out that the differences in culture and language would not be a hinderance to sharing the Word of God. Many parts of Indonesia and the Philippines struggle economically. And, the McIntoshs soon found out that the religious strong holds in that region had to be contended with. But God’s Word is sharper than any two-edged sword and the Word did bless the hearts and minds of the people they were privileged to share the faith message.
