Happy New Year!

Year 2021 is officially history and the new year 2022 is on. What a blessing it is to enter into another glorious year in Jesus. I want to take this time to give all the glory and praise to our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for all the blessings that were manifested in 2021. The year was eventful and wonderful. Because we came out of each challenge victorious in Jesus!

Some of you might be saying that 2021 was not so kind to you and you may be feeling more like a victim than the victor. Therefore, I encourage you to forgive yourself for what you did or did not do last year that kept you from reaching your best in Jesus. The good news is that you are here today and have the awesome opportunity to make 2022 your best year ever. God’s Word says it like this in Philippians 4:12-14:

12 Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own.

13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do; forgetting what lies behind [the defeats] and reaching forward to what lies ahead [the victories],

14 I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Don’t allow Satan to steal your joy and blessings this new year. Read, study, and do God’s Word. Diligently mediate on His Word to find out what great plans God has for you. This starts by finding a home church that is teaching the uncompromising Word of God. Remember you are always welcomed to join us on Sundays, we would love to share the goodness of God’s Word with you.

Three years ago, my husband and I received a special Christmas greeting from a wonderful Christian couple. And, I would like to share this message with you. The flyer read:

Listen up: I AM GOD! I will be handling all your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help. When the devil delivers a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly pray then put the petition in the box labeled ‘Something for Jesus to do.’ I will handle it at the right time. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or remove it. Doing so will delay My resolution. If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult Me in prayer to be sure that it is the proper course of action. Because I do not sleep or slumber, there is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest My child. If you need to contact Me, I am only a prayer away.” (Author Unknown)

Our continued prayer for you is that you live in victory spirit, soul and body! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
