Happy Thanksgiving!

To be thankful means expressing gratitude. And we have much to be thankful for in this year of 2021. Thank you, Jesus!

Autumn is such a wonderful time of the year to express our gratitude to all of our loved ones. It is that time of the year that we are preparing to celebrate and give thanks with special dinners and gifts. Letting our loved ones know how much we appreciate and cherish them in our lives. We all know that a good family and loyal friends are blessings from the Lord. And, we should honor each of them with kindness and love all through the year.

It is also a perfect time to reflect and give thanks to our Living God for being an awesome, faithful Heavenly Father. It is always the right time to thank Him for His continued protection and provisions. To recount and consider the many victories we have received in Jesus during the past year. I am particularly thankful this year for the loyal and giving church people God has blessed us with. They have made it possible for my first book, “Prayers that Reach the Throne of God” to be published this year and to continue our radio ministry on Gospel 1590. What an honor to share the Word of God with God’s people. I know that they will continue to grow spiritually and be those victorious people of excellence that they were created to be in Jesus!

We should never stop honoring our Heavenly Father and Jesus the Christ for creating us; and keeping us safe and sound throughout the year. For in Jesus, we have life and life more abundantly!

Here is one of my favorite songs of praise to my Heavenly Father taken from the Amplified Study Bible.
Psalm 100:1-5:
1. Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth!
2. Serve the Lord with gladness and delight; come before His presence with joyful singing.
3. Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the Lord Himself is God; it is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
4. Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name.
5. For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness [endures] to all generations.

Giving all the praise and glory to our Living God! Amen.
